He's Here

Things have been pretty exciting over here the past several days. I just checked my reader and it looks like blogland has been pretty exciting, too. I've missed out on several discussions worthy of conversation, but, well, my wife just would not have it. See, I've been at the hospital having a baby.

Michael Byron (named after the grandfathers) was born Monday, July 2nd at approximately 11:10 am. He was 7 lbs., 8 oz. and was 21" long. Mom and baby are doing very well. Me, well, I'm tired--just tired; exhausted as a matter of fact. Hope to see all of you real soon.

Congratulations!!!! That is fantastic!

Get rest, spend time with the family, and we'll all still be here waiting when you have a chance to return.

God bless you and your family, Tony!

(P.S. Did you mean July 2nd?)

Everyone, thanks so much.

Q was messing with the space time continuum again, so when it was July 2nd everywhere else, it was June 2nd here. Nevertheless, I updated the post so that I would be consistent with everyone else who missed a month.

(I said I was tired!)

I'll post some pictures later. Thanks for stopping in, everyone.

Congrats, Tony.

I'm sure your wife is tired, too. ;)

Enjoy your boy!

Thanks again to all for the encouragement and well-wishing.

Steve,

Yep--TNG. I'm surprised anyone caught that. I figured I was the only TNG geek left in the world. I don't tell too many people that.

Geoff-

Yeah, to be fair, she is tired too. But men always experience things differently from women, you ought to know that! I was out of bed at 3:30 this morning 'til sunrise. Hope this is abnormal. I'm getting too old for this.
