Steve Sensenig,

Nevermind.

Keep this rate up and you'll get more comments from this post than from your other posts...

Wonder what that says...

Let me tell you what it says...

Later...

M. Steve,

I have one thing to say to that:

This is the most brilliantly Seinfeldian post I have ever read.

There is a certain understated depth to it!

Ah be still and know...

I must say, this is much ado about nothing.

Tony said...

Doesn't ANYBODY have ANYTHING to say?

Karma Shuford said...

nope

Yes, actually, I do.

MyCane supports me. hahahahahahha

I was going to say " "

But that's already been said.

Gordon,

You're nearly as eloquent as Steve Sensenig.

Oh, wait...

There once was a song about nothing
with lyrics void of stuffing.
No words could be slurred, nor melody heard,

I knew that Steve and I often had different perspectives. I must say that I was surprised to see that we agreed on...

Well, you know.

Tony, I have to agree. If there's anyone who knows about getting a whole lot of stir out of a post with no content, it's Gordon.

Oh, and this thread of comments just goes to show that you can get a bunch of Christians together, and they agree about nothing.

Tony said...

Wow. I would not have dreamed I would have gotten this much mileage out of a post about...well, y'all know.

Mrs. V,

I am enjoying the poetry. Thank you!

Y'all are nuts! :) Sorry I've been missing out.
Thanks for thinking of me, though I'm quite disturbed it is over limericks. Sorry to add some substance to this thread, but I'll sum it up in poetry as well:
I quit my job,
I found a new one.
Home with my family I've been,
On a three-week vacation,
and to my elation,
we are off to Disney...I win! :)

OK, so it sucked rocks, but I tried! I'll be here sporadically over the next few weeks until I settle in at my new job. Bright blessings to all, and in keeping with the thread, I have one final thought....

Karma Shuford said...

great. now I have disney-envy.

Have a great time!!!!! wear sunscreen and drink plenty of (non-alcoholic) fluids.

Tony said...

JOE! Dude, you're back!

I thought you fell off the earth or something. I pray all goes well with the new job and that it works out for you and your family.

And you're right. The poem was horrible, but we love you anyway. And like Karma, now I have Disney-envy. Wait, can SB's go to Disney? ;)

Bernard Shuford said...

In a gesture of reconciliation, I propose that the Convention pay for a three day trip to Diznie for all 8 million SBCers. THAT oughtta bring 'em outta the woodwork, and maybe we could count 'em all at one time!

Karma Shuford said...

Bernard and I flew into Orlando to go to Disney for our honeymoon on the day a SB Disney boycott started, one time, a long time ago. . ..

Anonymous said...

Let me tell you, there were enough people in "Jesus Loves Me" tshirts to make me think the boycott is either over or being ignored.

Fun trip. Sorry for the Disney envy. And Bernard, the last thing that place needs is 8 million more people! It was too crowded as it was, and they were telling us it was starting to slow down!!

Karma Shuford said...

Baptists don't wear "jesus loves me" t-shirts.

That's too innocuous and doesn't give the entire gospel in a quippy little saying like "3 strikes -- YOU'RE SAVED!" (seen on a t-shirt with a picture of three nails).

(Can I still be a baptist if I say that?)

I still have Disney envy, though I think I would like to go in January or February. :)
