Compassion does follow a lot easier than anger, but it is something I have had to intently train myself to do.Tonyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13090951749017263188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32640004.post-21124256749291211082008-02-16T01:05:00.000-05:002008-02-16T01:05:00.000-05:00Oh Tony, that is so funny! She was hoping to have the day off from her nursing job and told me she would bring them from Texas to Oklahoma (about an hour away) right after school. She also said if for some reason she got called into work she would call me and I agreed to drive to Texas and pick them up.

When I didn't receive a call, I went about cleaning house, preparing for the girls and took the opportunity to dye my hair before they arrived. I had 5 more minutes for the dye to stay in my hair when I got a call from my daughter-in-law saying she had totally forgotten to call me. (The girls would be getting out of school in ten minutes.)

She called the school and told them to put the girls on the schoolbus and they were dropped off at the daycare. I hopped into the shower, rinsed that goop off my head, wrapped my head in a towel and took off for Texas.

People make mistakes. I've made a few myself. It's so much easier on our hearts to have compassion than to have anger, don't ya think? Love ya...selahVAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32640004.post-68982465488089994282008-02-13T22:54:00.000-05:002008-02-13T22:54:00.000-05:00Very much so. BTW, I have an article coming up Friday at the Impact site you might be interested in. Its on evangelism. :)Tonyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13090951749017263188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32640004.post-64074949566907398322008-02-13T20:59:00.000-05:002008-02-13T20:59:00.000-05:00That's funny!I'm guessing now that its over it mig...That's funny!

I'm guessing now that its over it might seem a little silly.

Blessings anyway

Chris
http://www.evangelismcoach.orgEvangelism Coachhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18171866851004140547noreply@blogger.com
