What I HAVE noticed is that as I depend upon Him, He provides for our needs. My attempts at provision are frail and feeble and He has been an all-sufficient source. I should be satisfied with His provision, and if He chooses NOT to supply, then I didn't need it in the first place.Tonyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13090951749017263188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32640004.post-66312680054162047532009-12-30T10:20:30.572-05:002009-12-30T10:20:30.572-05:00Maybe the phrase (which I have been guilty of usin...Maybe the phrase (which I have been guilty of using) should be changed. Perhaps, "God will not put more on you than HE can bear" is more accurate, though it still seems to try and define God's power and grace.Karma Shufordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00663072227285727062noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32640004.post-49670005501624384242009-12-30T09:43:06.896-05:002009-12-30T09:43:06.896-05:00Absolutely. God DOES overload you for the simple reason to make you trust HIM and not yourself. To say the above quote simply makes YOU the author of your own sustaining power--not God.Tonyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13090951749017263188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32640004.post-89775884310056023372009-12-30T09:10:07.430-05:002009-12-30T09:10:07.430-05:00Basic principle of physical training - increased l...Basic principle of physical training - increased load and increased effort results in increased strength.

God can't make us stronger if he doesn't overload us. Well, he COULD, because he can do anything, but I believe there are principles that even he abides by. Not because he HAS to, but because that's the way he works.Bernard Shufordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12902276677689422490noreply@blogger.com
